July 16th, 2021, Bangalore: BGS Gleneagles Global Hospital expands their presence to suburban Karnataka, to cater healthcare facilities during COVID times. The hospital began their services on June 17th in Ramanagara, providing primary and secondary services to the community. The majority of the suburban population doing blue-collar jobs in the cities are reverse migrating, hence COVID cases in suburban and rural areas are spiking rapidly. For an immediate curb of COVID spread, many of our doctors and staff organized vaccination awareness programmes and today organized vaccination drive for the suburban population.

The recently opened hospital has 30 plus staff including doctors, general physicians who are open for consultation every day, especially for primary healthcare needs of the people. They have covered all the departments including Neurology, Nephrology, Urology, cardiac Sciences, medical gastro, surgical gastro, internal medicine, orthopaedic and Endocrinology. The hospital also has a lab for all tests, X-Rays, ECG, 24X7 Pharmacy, 24X7 ambulance services, ICU and multiple wards. There is also a capable team of nursing staff supporting the doctors and patients for better and quick recovery. It acts as a vital trauma centre for the Bangalore Mysore belt.

The super speciality doctors from Kengeri have scheduled visits for OPDs every week to treat severe cases. In case of high-end major cases, the patients are transferred to the Kengeri unit for an extended support from other departments and better treatment.
